With the theme, “Solidarity in Sports, A Commitment in Transforming SSCT toward SNSU,” the college held its Intramurals Games 2015 last Sept. 14-18, 2015. The series of activities started with a mass at the Academic Center on the morning of Sept. 15 followed by a parade along the main streets of the city. The opening program were graced by OIC President Dr. Ecclesiastes T. Dumanig, OPS Dean Dr. Jhane R. Jabonero, Sports Coordinator Jose Balili and the Division Chairs. This year, instead of a dance showdown, a cheerdance competitions was held among the different divisions. Emerging as champion was the Information Technology Division, second place was the newly-created Business and Hospitality Management Division(BHM) and third place went to the arts and Sciences Division
The Search for Ginoo at Binibining SSCT was held in the evening of Sept. 15 and the winners were Ms. Jonita G. Patricio, an HRM student Mr. Joshua A. Manungas, a Civil Engineering freshman.
Other activities in the 5-day Intramurals included the Literary Musical Nigh, Students Leaders’ Night, and the Awarding Night/Victory Ball. This year’s champion, based on the medal tally, is the College of Industrial Technology. Trailing behind is the BHM as 2nd place and third is the Engineering Division.
Meanwhile, the Graduate School also held its one-day intramurals on September 19, 2015 at the SSCT Quadrangle.
