“English language competence-an avenue for confidently global learners” was the theme of this year’s JEEP Day celebration which was celebrated last Monday, 15th day of January 2016. It was a whole day program filled with various activities that showcases the student’s English Language Proficiency. The major highlight of the said celebration was the Search for Mr. and Ms. English Proficient and there were 7 contestants from different divisions competed for the title. The winners are as follows: second runners up Mr. Timothy John Lumpay and Ms. Hyacith Mae Jacob; first runners up Mr. Kilven Masien and M. Rothe Ann Martinez; and Mr. and Ms. English proficient 2016 are Mr. Idian Melbourne and Ms. Felomina Lipao, respectively from the Education Division.
In the afternoon, games were simultaneously facilitated and majority of the students had participated. Winners of the said playoffs were announced right away (Amazing race: 3rd place- Grammar Police; 2nd place-English Engineers and 1st place Number Cruncher; Balloon Twister: Figuron and company; Phonetic Frenzy: Villacencio and company; and JEEP Quiz: Luzl Dramayo.)
The JEEP coordinator, Ms. Iryn Cavite commended the JEEP Officers, Students’ Home On Unmuted Transformation (SHOUT) Officers together with the JEEP advisers, Ms. Ezel J. Gravino and Mary Grace C. Ceniza and to all student participants to the success of the JEEP celebration.
